Terms of sale
The fine print for buying printable resources from the NeuroMove shop, written as plainly as we can.
Last updated: October 2026Who we are and what these terms cover
"NeuroMove", "we", "our" or "us" refers to NeuroMove, a New Zealand sole trader business operated by Robyn Polley, based in the Waikato, New Zealand.
These terms apply when you buy a product from the shop on neuromove.co.nz. By placing an order, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, please email us before you buy.
Products and prices
- Our shop currently sells digital products: printable PDFs you download and print at home or use on a screen. Nothing is posted to you.
- All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD). The price you pay is the price shown at checkout.
- We describe each product as accurately as we can, including what's inside, page counts and file format. Product images show examples, and colours may look a little different on your screen or printer.
- We may change prices or products at any time. A change won't affect an order you've already paid for.
- If we list something at the wrong price by mistake, we'll contact you before your order is filled and you can choose to pay the right price or cancel for a full refund.
Ordering and payment
You pay at checkout through our website's secure checkout. Card payments are processed by our payment providers, and we never see or store your full card details.
Your order is confirmed when payment goes through and you receive a confirmation email. Please check your email address carefully at checkout, because that's where your download link is sent.
Getting your download
- Straight after checkout you'll receive an email with your download link. Some products download as a ZIP file containing PDFs.
- Download links are time-limited, so please download and save your files soon after you buy.
- If your email hasn't arrived, check your junk or promotions folder first. If you still can't find it, or your link has expired, email polley@neuromove.co.nz with your order number and we'll send it again.
- You'll need a device that can open PDF files and unzip ZIP files. Most phones, tablets and computers can do this without extra software.
How you can use your purchase
Everything we sell is the work of NeuroMove and is protected by copyright. When you buy a product, you get a licence to use it. You don't own the copyright.
A standard (personal) licence lets you:
- print and use the resource as often as you like for your own family and the tamariki in your care at home
- keep copies on your own devices
Please don't:
- share, forward or upload the files (including to shared drives, social media, websites or parent groups)
- sell, give away or republish the files or printed copies, in whole or in part
- use them for paid classes, a centre, a school or a business unless you've bought a licence that covers it (see section 7)
If a friend would like a copy, we'd love you to point them to our shop.
Refunds and your rights
If you're buying as a consumer, you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
- If something's wrong, for example a file won't open, pages are missing, or the product isn't what we described, email us within a reasonable time. We'll fix it, send a replacement, or give you a refund.
- Change of mind: because digital products are delivered instantly and can't be returned, we don't usually offer refunds if you simply change your mind.
- Bought it twice by mistake? Let us know within 14 days and we'll refund the duplicate order.
Refunds go back to the payment method you used, usually within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank.
Early learning centres, schools and businesses
Products sold with a centre licence may be used by the kaiako, teachers and tamariki at one centre or school site, and printed and copied as often as needed there. A centre licence doesn't cover other sites, associations or groups of centres. Please email us for multi-site pricing.
If you're buying for the purposes of a business (including an early learning centre or school), you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to that purchase, to the extent the law allows. We'll still put things right if a product is faulty or not as described.
Safety and health information
- Our resources are play-based learning activities. They don't diagnose, treat or cure any condition, and they aren't a substitute for advice from your GP, Plunket or Well Child nurse, occupational therapist, physio or other health professional.
- Children should always be supervised by an adult during activities. Use a clear, safe space, check equipment before use, and stop if a child is tired, unwell, sore or not enjoying it.
- Follow the age guidance and the easier or harder options on each activity, and use your own judgement about what suits your child.
- If you have any concerns about your child's health or development, please talk to a health professional.
Our responsibility
We take care to make our resources accurate, safe and useful. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for loss or harm that comes from using a resource in a way that ignores its instructions or safety notes, or for indirect losses.
If we are responsible for a problem with a product, our liability is limited to the price you paid for it, except where the law says otherwise. This doesn't limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Sessions, workshops and professional development
These terms cover products bought from our online shop. Bookings for 1:1 sessions, workshops, parent evenings and centre or school PD have their own details and cancellation terms, which we'll share with you when you book.
Privacy
We use the details you give at checkout to process your order, send your download and help with any questions. Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.
Changes to these terms and New Zealand law
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any disputes will be handled by the New Zealand courts.
Something not right with your order?
Email Polley with your order number and we'll sort it out, usually within 2 working days.
