FAB Workshop 1 - Brain Integration & Movement Patterns

Brain Integration & Movement Patterns

More and more of our young tāmariki are struggling with simple everyday tasks. Have you noticed an increase in tāmariki who are clumsy, anxious, sedentary, or are sensory overloaded, hesitant to join in, and have behavioural outbursts?

Polley is back running a series of workshops that will address these issues and a whole lot more.

We know that fundamental movement activities help develop the holistic brain. When we cross our mid-line, we allow both sides of the brain to “talk” to each other. This is crucial in developing a dominant hand and a helping hand, allowing tāmariki to complete all major self-care tasks, but when underdeveloped can impact a child’s reading and writing.

Time: 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

Cost: $25 per workshop

Venue: Sport Waikato Brian Perry Sports House
