TAUPO - FAB Workshop 2 - Proprioception System (Spatial Awareness)

Proprioception System (Spatial Awareness)

As a child learns to move, they begin to become aware of their body parts, where their body is in relation to the physical environment around them, and what their body looks like. When a child has opportunities to move in a variety of environments they learn about spatial awareness. When a child doesn’t get these opportunities, these tāmariki are often sedentary, fall off chairs, fall out of bed, bump into others, trip and fall, or are hesitant to join in running games.

Polley is back running a series of workshops that will address these issues and a whole lot more.
