FAB 1 - Reflex Integration - Educator Series

  • Sport Waikato 51 Akoranga Road Hamilton, Waikato Region, 3200 New Zealand (map)

Primitive reflexes play a crucial role in a babies survival and early development. As a child moves through milestones, these reflexes should integrate, allowing more mature movement patterns and higher-level learning to emerge. When primitive reflexes fail to integrate they can become retained reflexes, causing challenges. Retained reflexes can hinder development and prevent the acquisition of higher-level skills.
